Finished!

It is finally done and in the mail to my mom for Christmas! I am happy with it. I think the only thing I could of done better is the actual quilting. But practice will help me get closer to perfect.

  2. I saw this on Wardrobe Refashion. It's beautiful! I really like the fabrics you used to frame the T-shirts.

  3. Hey, followed you here from wardrobe Refashion. I love it! How'd you stabilize the t-shirts? My mom is eager for me to do the same thing with some of her old shirts and I'm not sure what the best way to go about it is. Yours looks very sturdy and held in place quite well!

  4. Thank-you P and F-o-x and Jecca!

Jecca - I ironed a lightweight fusible interfacing on the back of the rough cut t-shirt. If you look on this blog one or two posts back you will see how I go about sewing and cutting. There are many methods of making these. Good luck and I would love to see yours when you make it!
